Who encouraged you to be a Musician & when did you know it was what you wanted to do
A. I was 12 years old when I learned to play, my Step-Dad said, "You'll never be in a damn rock band" I Knew! Q. What would you say to someone interested in starting a band A. Go for it! If you have people telling you you're good enough you probably are. Whether it's a career move or not it's a great life experience. Q. In your career what was your favorite gig & why A. When I threw the 9 to 5 life aside (again) & joined a road band from Western MN. I joined in early summer & we had no place to call home so we lived in tents & fished for food into October of that year, when the bookings became full-time & we moved to Minneapolis. Suitably enough we named the band "Kid Gypsy." It taught me a lot about humility, determination, & the payoffs that come with sticking with something you believe in.
